Component Anti-Virus The Anti-Virus component is, in fact, an internal AVG virus database used for identifying known viruses.
Settings The Anti-Virus component cannot be configured. It is only crucial that it gets updated regularly to maintain the highest level of protection. For that purpose, there is already a scheduled update task predefined by the manufacturer to run automatically in convenient intervals, so normally you will not need to worry about updating at all.
