E-mail Scanner for MS Exchange (SMTP TA) – Mail Filtering

Getting here: Main Screen -> Main Menu Tools -> Advanced settings -> Server components -> branch E-mail Scanner for MS Exchange (SMTP TA) -> Mail Filtering

 

In this dialog you can set automatic filtering of e-mail messages attachments, both infected and uninfected. (Infected attachments are removed automatically, uninfected only those specified in this dialog.)

 

Remove all executable files – all files of the following types will be removed: COM, DRV, EXE, OV?, PGM, SYS, BIN, CMD, DEV, 386, SMM, VXD, DLL, OCX, BOO, SCR, ESL, CLA, CLASS, BAT, VBS, VBE, WSH, HTA, CHM, INI, HTT, INF, JS, JSE, HLP, SHS, PRC, PDB, PIF, PHP, ZL?, ASP, LNK, PL, CPL, WMF.

Remove all documents – all files of the following types will be removed: DO?, XL?, VBX, RTF, PP?, POT, MDA, MDB, XML, DOC?, DOT?, XLS?, XLT?, XLAM, PPT?, POT?, PPS?, SLD?, PPAM, THMX.

Note: A question mark represents a single arbitrary character.

 

Remove files with these comma separated extensions – to delete e-mail attachments of formats other than those mentioned above, enter the desired extensions in this field. To enter more than one extension, separate the items with comma or semicolon, with no extra space (e.g. ABC;PPT;BIN).
