Component LinkScanner The LinkScanner component is consists of two major parts:
Both parts aim to protect you when browsing the Internet, in real-time, from dangerous contents of websites, and even links to such websites. Note: If you have chosen to install just one of these two parts, only the remaining part will be available to you. To add the missing part to your system, you will need to reinstall your AVG.
Settings Enable Search-Shield – uncheck the box to switch off the Search-Shield feature. Enable Surf-Shield – uncheck the box to switch off the Surf-Shield feature.
