Removable Device Scan (automatic) “Removable device” means virtually any device that can be temporarily connected to or inserted into the computer: USB stick (flashdisk), memory card, external hard drive, camera… All of these devices can be automatically, whenever insterted, scanned for viruses and malware. How to activate Removable Device Scan Navigate to AVG Main Screen -> Main Menu Tools -> Advanced settings… -> expand branch Scans -> select Removable device scan. In the dialog, check the box Enable Removable device scan.
