It allows you to easily and instantly scan any file or folder in your computer without having to open the AVG interface. How to run Shell Extension Scan It is very simple indeed: Right-click any item (a file, folder, drive or removable media), and select Scan with AVG in the context menu. How to modify the scan settings Shell extension scan is editable just like any other AVG scan.
